I’m a 30-something year old, lesbian, neurodivergent author, living with my fiancee (what!) and my dog. When I’m not writing I’m likely either at a concert or getting tattooed.
I have recently started querying for my first novel, Gamer Girls. Think if the Legend of Zelda, or Horizon were a book instead of a game, with strong female leads who have a lot to learn.

is a story about Leah, a twenty-four year old who is bored of her stressful life, desperate for some escapism. She gets exactly what she wishes for when she goes to sleep and wakes up inside of her game.
With zero fighting skills and the occasional panic attack, Leah somehow has to survive deadly machines, dangerous people who call themselves Wolves, and the occasional dragon.

the strong warrior and main character of the game. If Leah wants to survive this world, she’ll need Valda’s help. Leah promises to be a useful sidekick—the brains to Valda’s brawn—and Valda reluctantly accepts.
After thorough training, the two embark on their quest together, coming across myriad side quests. But what happens when Leah merges with the game, and Valda seems to become more and more human?
