Hi! I’m Britt Meagan

I’m a 30-something year old, lesbian, neurodivergent author, living with my fiancee (what!) and my dog. When I’m not writing I’m likely either at a concert or getting tattooed.

I’m not published, yet, so for now you can read snippets of what I’m working on here, on my website, for both Gamer Girls and Where the Poppies Bloom.

And yes! Both are sapphic!

is a story about Leah, a twenty-one year old who wants to finally make the right decision when it comes to choosing what to study. To make sure Game Development is the right choice, she decides to step inside of her favorite game, positive she can come back with the help from some devices she purchased online… except that she can’t.

With zero fighting skills and no help, Leah is now stuck in Valda’s world. She needs to find Valda and convince her to let Leah tag along, or she might be done for…

Gamer Girls

the strong warrior and main character of the game who, despite seeming very human, is most definitely not. If Leah wants to survive and eventually go back home, she’ll need Valda’s help. After thorough training, the two embark, coming across myriad people and quests.

But what happens when Leah becomes more and more immersed with the game, and Valda seems to become more and more human?

Enter Valda,

Where the Poppies Bloom

Poppy is a twenty-eight year old woman, living her best, whimsical, cottagecore life in the house her mother left behind when she passed. She sells her fresh fruits and vegetables at the market, hangs out with her girlfriend, and generally enjoys her pretty ordinary life.

Though Poppy’s life is not as ordinary as she’d like it to be, plagued by her frequent, unwanted trips to Underland, which leave her mind frazzled upon return. If she wants these trips to stop, she’ll have to do something about it herself.

For now, steering clear of the sunflowers at the back of her garden seems like her safest bet.
